Στις 4-5 Ιουνίου 2024, το ECRE φιλοξένησε μια αξιόλογη εκπαιδευτική εκδήλωση στο Λουξεμβούργο ως μέρος του έργου WILL (With Lawyers for Lawyers), με επίκεντρο τη χρήση του Χάρτη των Θεμελιωδών Δικαιωμάτων της ΕΕ σε υποθέσεις ασύλου.
Οι συμμετέχοντες έλαβαν μέρος σε εκτενείς συνεδρίες σχετικά με τον ρόλο του Χάρτη στις διαφορές για το άσυλο και διερεύνησαν τον αντίκτυπο του μηχανισμού προδικαστικών ερωτημάτων στη διαμόρφωση της νομολογίας για το άσυλο.
Οι παρευρισκόμενοι συνδέθηκαν με κορυφαίους εμπειρογνώμονες στον Χάρτη των Θεμελιωδών Δικαιωμάτων, δικτυώθηκαν με συναδέλφους δικηγόρους, οι οποίοι μοιράστηκαν την πρακτική εμπειρία σε υποθέσεις ενώπιον του ΔΕΕ.
Στις 5 Ιουνίου, πραγματοποιήθηκε επίσκεψη και ξενάγηση στο Δικαστήριο της ΕΕ, καθώς και η παρακολούθηση δίκης – ακρόασης στο ακροατήριο του Δικαστηρίου.
Την ΑΡΣΙΣ εκπροσώπησε ο υπεύθυνος της ομάδας Συνηγορίας, δικηγόρος κ. Κυρμανίδης Κώστας. Το πρόγραμμα Συνηγορίας με τον τίτλο “Improving Living Conditions for Unaccompanied Minors (UAMs) and Defending their Fundamental Rights” υλοποιείται σε συνεργασία και με την χρηματοδότηση της οργάνωσης “GermanDoctors e.V.” μέχρι και τον Μάρτιο του 2025.
The Charter in Practice – Legal Training and Visit at the Court of Justice of the EU
On 4-5 June 2024, ECRE hosted a remarkable training event in Luxembourg as part of the WILL project (With Lawyers for Lawyers), focusing on the use of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU in asylum litigation.
Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions on the Charter’s role in asylum litigation and explored the preliminary reference mechanism’s impact on shaping asylum jurisprudence.
Attendees connected with leading experts on the Charter of Fundamental Rights, networked with fellow lawyers, and learned from those with hands-on experience in litigating cases before the CJEU.
On 5 June, participants enjoyed a guided visit to the Court of Justice of the EU, featuring a presentation by a Court official and the unique opportunity to attend a hearing.
ARSIS was represented by the head of the Advocacy team, lawyer Mr. Kyrmanidis Kostas. The Advocacy program entitled “Improving Living Conditions for Unaccompanied Minors (UAMs) and Defending their Fundamental Rights” is implemented in collaboration and with the funding of the organization “GermanDoctors e.V.” until March 2025.
