Fitness Class<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as the weather permits, we will keep ourselves in shape! The ARSIS Child Protection team, which is active in the Safe Area within the R.I.C Fylakio, with the assistance of a fellow interpreter-caregiver who is a trainer, carried out a fitness program in cooperation with the unaccompanied minors who reside there, which included aerobic and strengthening exercises. The activity aimed to improve and maintain the physical condition of the unaccompanied minors, increase energy levels and reduce stress through exercise. The minors enjoyed it throughout the action. In the end, they expressed that they felt well and realized how important physical exercise is in a person’s life, both for their development and health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARSIS Child Protection Team in Evros region (RIC Fylakio) operates under the program \u201cSupporting Unaccompanied Migrant Children at the Northern Greek Borders and LesvosSafe Area (MERIMNA III \u2013 PROTECTION AT GREEK BORDERS)\u201d, which is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Greece with the support of the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
