Handbook on Safeguarding Unaccompanied and Separated Children&#8217;s Rights through the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><br>ARSIS Association for the Social Support of Youth is pleased to announce the publication of the SUN Practitioners&#8217; Handbook, titled \u201cPractitioners&#8217; Handbook on Safeguarding Unaccompanied and Separated Children&#8217;s Rights through the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.\u201d Developed within the framework of the SUN project, this handbook aims to enhance the protection and effective realization of the rights enshrined in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (CFREU) for unaccompanied and separated refugee and migrant children (UASC). The handbook is specifically designed to provide legal practitioners with comprehensive and targeted legal guidance through its various chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The SUN project is spearheaded and coordinated by the Foundation for Access to Rights (FAR) in Bulgaria, with collaborative partnerships including ARSIS in Greece, Terre des Hommes in Romania, Nidos in the Netherlands, the Sirius Network based in Belgium, Volontarius in Italy, and the Comissi\u00f3 Catalana d\u2019Acci\u00f3 pel Refugi (CCAR) in Spain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chapters of the Handbook have been meticulously drafted by these partner organizations, ensuring a diverse and well-rounded perspective on the legal issues addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chapter I: Basic principles in protecting the rights of UASC in the light of Article 24 of the CFREU &#8211;
