What is EURHOPE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Protecting children's rights, especially the most vulnerable, is one of the\nobjectives of the EU, which is committed to reducing poverty and social\nexclusion, including those outside the family (Porto Social Summit, 2021).\nPrecisely concerning this target, already in 2009, the United Nations General\nAssembly (UNGA) approved the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of\nChildren, to ensure that each state ensures that children grow up in their own\nfamilies whenever possible and, if not, that alternative forms of care provide a\nprotected and supportive environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, EURHOPE proposes to include young people in new\nnetworks of positive relationships with the educating community through civic\nparticipation paths based on values and initiatives at the European level, able\nto answer the question \u00abWhat can the EU offer me to improve my condition\nand, at the same time, what can I do to make my voice heard?\u00bb. The\nproposed actions will enable out-of-family children to rethink and act for\nthemselves to build a Europe closer to their needs and the idea of a\ndemocratic and inclusive society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
