Music and sports unite people!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, the ARSIS Child Protection team organized activitiesof music and sports together with the UMC who are residing in the RIC Fylakio Orestiada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UMC participated in a music game of melody creation and introduction to various musical instruments such as, touberleki, maraca, kajon, tambourine, guitar, theysang favorite songs with the staff promotingvarious messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the UMC played their favorite sports, like basketball and football.They all team-cooperated, in order to give their best, showing in this way how sports can unite people regardless of age, religion or nationality. In the end, we discussed about minors\u2019 favorite teams and favorite players in each sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The atmosphere in all the activities was very pleasant and the minors seemed to enjoy the moment, participating with joy and very good mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARSIS Child Protection Team in Evros region (RIC Fylakio) operates under the program “Supporting Unaccompanied Migrant Children at the Northern Greek Borders and Lesvos Safe Area (MERIMNA III \u2013 PROTECTION AT GREEK BORDERS)”, which is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Greece with the support of the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
