Law students of Brunel University visited ARSIS in Thessaloniki<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students of the Law School of Brunel University London visited structures and services of ARSIS -Association for the Social Support of Youth in Thessaloniki in order to learn moreabout the work in the field of defending children’s rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students were accompanied by AlexandraXanthaki, Professor of Human Rights and Special Commissioner for Cultural Rights at the UN, and Hermione Xanthopoulou, Professor of European Law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an informative meeting with the students and their teachers, ARSIS Advocacy Officer Kostas Kyrmanidis and the Head of the Press Office of ARSIS Kostas Kekeliadis (photo)<\/strong> spoke about the legal status of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers or refugees, as well as about the ways of broadcasting news regarding the refugee issue in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
