Raising awareness activity to UMC through experiential learning for Human Trafficking In the context of providing psychosocial support to UMC who stay in the RIC Fylakio, the Child Protection Team of ARSIS carries out information sessions on a systematic basis on the subject of Human Trafficking, as well as protection issues in general. Specifically, in February the team’s social workers referred to the topic of Human Trafficking and each type. After they proceed with an experiential exercise with examples, open dialogue, and actions regarding the prevention and avoidance of issues that endanger the mental and physical health of the minors. To better understand the information, an information leaflet was distributed to each of the minors, written in different languages to better manage and deal with the above issue. At the end, time was given to the minors to express their questions and to share any story related to the discussion topic with the rest of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
