On 10\/05\/2023 the Kick – Off event of the \u201cSUN\u201d project took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. The project will have duration of 2 years and is funded by the European Commission, represented by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
#ARSIS participates together with partners from Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, the Netherlands, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain.
#SUN project focuses on the use of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights as an effective legal instrument to promote and protect the rights of unaccompanied and separated refugee and migrant children (UASC) on EU territory. Minors are a particularly vulnerable group due to their age, displacement and lack of an adult caregiver, and are at increased risk of rights violations and abuse.
The aim of the project is to safeguard the rights of unaccompanied and separated children through the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, by promoting transnational exchange of knowledge and good practices, training of professionals and dissemination and awareness-raising.
