The beginning of this year was nice. I spend these days in a\nfriend\u00b4s house in Thessaloniki, was the first year that I don’t spend Christmas\nwith my family and friends, was different but very special too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some days after I got very sick and I had to go to the hospital\nbecause I got amigdalitis and I spent three days in the hospital , such an\nadventure\u2026.When I finally went out of the hospital I had to rest a little bit\nat home but I got better quickly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Two days after it was so cold and started to snow, the city became\nso beautiful and I went with some friends  to see the city views in Ano\nPoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the middle of this month, good news has finally arrived, we can\nstart to work again at least two days per week. It was amazing seeing the boys\nagain, I missed them a lot. I kept teaching  classes, Spanish with some\nboys because they want to go to Spain with their relatives and also English\nlessons with some boys because they know it is very important for their future,\nit is so nice seeing their motivation in the classes, i\u2019m very proud of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of classes I just try to spend the days with them talking;\nabout their concerns, future or just about life in general, trying to give them\nthe best advices because I feel they trust in me and I want the best for them.\nAlso I try to propose some games so they don’t stay with the phone all day,\nthey spend too much time with it, but in general they listen to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To try to do something different, the weekends i try to go to a\ndifferent places in Thessaloniki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week i went with some friends to Kalochori lagoon to go for a\nwalk to this nice place when you can enjoy the amazing views of this lake and\nsome animals like flamingos, buffals, pelicans and more. You can also see\nalmost all Thessaloniki and Chortiatis Mount  too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend we went to Pavlos Mela, which was the second major\nconcentration camp for the Nazis in  Greece during the Second World War,\nnow abandoned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Very close to Pavlos Mela, there is an Allied military cemetery\nand World War I memorial park, the largest military cemetery in Greece, it is\nso impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
