provide our services during the lockdown<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARSIS \u2013 Association for the Social Support of Youth is implementing the project \u201cDIAPLOUS\u201d, which is funded under the \u201cAsylum and Migration\u201d Programme, part of the EEA\/Norway Grants 2014-2021, in collaboration with Human Rights 360 and SOL Consulting S.A. As part of the \u201cDIAPLOUS\u201d project,&nbsp; there are (16) accommodation places in three apartments in the broader area of Thessaloniki for vulnerable women asylum seekers and their underaged children. The duration of the program is (12) months with a possibility of extension. The project addresses <strong>the lack of adequate accommodation places and specific services for vulnerable women and their children<\/strong>. The program is orientated towards vulnerable women asylum seekers, who are singles or single-parents and live under precarious conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the lockdown and under all the restrictive protective measures against the spread of COVID-19, DIAPLOUS team continued uninterruptedly and consistently to stand by the vulnerable women and their children and to provide them with all services (psychological, psychosocial and legal support, translation services and one-to-one Greek classes). Especially, during this insecure period of time, the support of our beneficiaries is of high importance and priority as lockdown challenges everyone\u2019s resilience and deprives us of human contact and interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many sessions and meetings are conducted online but\nthe majority of them continue to take place in person with scheduled\nappointments and in compliance with all restrictive measures against the spread\nof COVID-19.
