It seems it was yesterday when I was leaving\nmy hometown to start a new adventure but I actually feel many things have\nhappened and changed. Since I came, my vision of the reality has changed and it\nis still changing; I suppose life is mostly about this, a constant change that\nyou have to assimilate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I was feeling a bit stressed with my project in the\ncentre, I decided to change it. Some of the volunteers that lived with me also\ndecided to change their projects and felt better after it, so I thought it\ncould be better for me too. So now I am three days at the centre, continuing\nwith English and guitar lessons, and the other two days in mobile school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The mobile school is a project about non-formal\neducation in which the main objective is bringing schooling near to the kids.\nThrough this the workers can have an idea about the socioeconomic background of\nthe children, and detect if any of them is at risk of exclusion with the aim to\nimplement the necessary measures to protect the kids. It consists on different\npanels that cover the main areas of learning, like maths or linguistics, but\nwith games and alternative ways of teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven\u2019t been many days out with the mobile school\nbut I really like it and it makes me feel so good. For me is completely\ndifferent to be in the centre that being in the park with the kids. In the park\nthere\u2019s so much more freedom for the children and they behave naturally so it\u2019s\neasier to put in practice a real non-formal education. Teaching in the centre\nhas other good things, maybe more facilities, but in this sense is more\nlimited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arsis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Aida-Nicolas-Perez_January_2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22890\" width=\"292\" height=\"220\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arsis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Aida-Nicolas-Perez_January_2.png 551w, https:\/\/arsis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Aida-Nicolas-Perez_January_2-300x225.png 300w, https:\/\/arsis.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Aida-Nicolas-Perez_January_2-16x12.png 16w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 292px) 100vw, 292px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In my opinion is very important as a volunteer to\nalways consider the possibility of changing the project if it doesn\u2019t makes you\nfeel good with what you are doing. And I also think this is a lesson to apply\nto daily life. You shouldn\u2019t cope with something that doesn\u2019t make you happy,\nand change what bothers you is always a chance to make your life and the one of\nthose near you better and more satisfying. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Changes Finally I have reached the half of my project and it\u2019s hard to believe that time runs this fast!
