PRESS RELEASE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


\n“Psychosocial and\nhealth interventions for the well-being of children from vulnerable\npopulations” called “In4Child” (for the child) are being\nimplemented by ARSIS – Social Support Organization for Youth, the University\nSt. Kliment Ohridski Higher Medical School of The former Yugoslav Republic of\nMacedonia, UKLO, UNESCO Club of Serres and Lifestart \u2013 Growing And Learning\ntogether.
\nThis crossborder project aims at strengthening\nthe cooperation between Greece and The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia in\nthe field of child protection and support for vulnerable social groups.\nRepresentatives of the four partners held their first official meeting on\nFriday 29 June in Thessaloniki, in order to jointly organize the implementation\nof the actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The project is funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Program “Greece – The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2014-2020”, co-funded by the European Union and National Funds of the participating countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


\nThe project “In4Child” will be\nimplemented by the Greek partners in the areas of Thessaloniki, Pella, Kilkis\nand Serres aiming at pedagogical, psychosocial and medical support of children\nworking on the streets, living in Roma camps or refugee camps, as well as of\nchildren crossing the border between the two partner countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the project partners will implement actions in Pelagonia region aiming at pedagogical, psychosocial and medical support of children working on the streets, living in Roma camps and children crossing the border between the two partner countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important pillar of the same project is human rights education. In particular, there will be training courses for Teachers of Primary and Secondary Education with the use of the Council of Europe’s manuals, Compass & Compasito and educational interventions in schools of both countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
