\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Interreg IPA CBC Programme \u201dGreece \u2013Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020\u201d is a cross-border cooperation Programme co-financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II). The strategy statement of the Programme is \u201cto enhance territorial cohesion by improving living standards and employment opportunities holding respect to the environment and by using the natural resources for upgrading of the tourism product\u201d. The total budget of the Programme for the period 2014-2020 is 45.470.066,00 \u20ac.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Project In4Child enhances the access of children of vulnerable populations to psycho-social and health services, while at the same time providing educational interventions targeted both at children and parents.<\/p>

The project implements a holistic approach to facilitate access to children on the move, children on the streets as well as children of other vulnerable groups (Roma, migrants, rural areas).<\/p>

All partner\u2019s resources and networks will be mobilized for the activities’ implementation, including their volunteers\u2019 capital. In4Child is an innovative approach for both countries, Greece & Republic of North Macedonia, in the sense that it addresses common challenges in a cross-border manner. The project is expected to create social structures to support children’s wellbeing which will mobilize local communities and last well after the end of the project cycle.<\/p>

The specific objectives of the Project are:<\/p>

  1. Development of an institutional capacity on an interregional level for implementing alternative cost-effective community-based educational services for children from vulnerable populations.<\/span><\/li>
  2. Access of the disadvantaged children to psycho-social and health interventions<\/span><\/li>
  3. Expansion of parameters for enabling marginalized and vulnerable children to develop their specific talents or reach their full developmental potential, for better integration in primary school and the society as a whole<\/span><\/li>
  4. Creation of a capacity and knowledge deposit among local social scientists, health professionals, and volunteers. The project is implemented in the INTERREG IPA Cross Border Cooperation Program CCI 2014 TC 16 I5CB 009 and co-funded by the participating countries’ European Union and National Funds.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
