An Advocacy program for unaccompanied minors

An "Advocacy" (#Advocacy) programAdvocacy) program for unaccompanied minors has already been implemented since September 2021 by #ARSIS - Association for the Social Support of Youth (ARSIS - Association for the Social Support of Youth). 

Τhe program aims to support unaccompanied minors through "Advocacy" practices, by monitoring developments in the field of child protection, submitting proposals to improve living conditions, actions for their legal stay in the country and providing solutions for any other issue relating to their integration into society and safeguarding their best interest. 

At the same time, there is the possibility to represent unaccompanied children before the courts, for cases related to the right to International Protection. 

From January 2022 until today, more than seventeen children have been represented in the Administrative Courts for the annulment of decisions to return to their country of origin, and 13 children have already received their asylum card back. For case referrals you can contact at arsis.advocacy@gmail.com and the lawyers of the program Mr. Kyrmanidis Kostas and Ms. Argyriou Anthi (tel. 6984475470). "#Synigoria" is implemented within the framework of the program "Improving living conditions for Unaccompanied Minors (#UAMs) located on insecure living conditions in Greece through the provision of food" in collaboration and with the funding of the organization "#GermanDoctors e.V." until March 2023.
