ARSIS Mobile Unit for In4Child

Psychosocial and health interventions for the well-being of children from vulnerable populations” called “In4Child” are being implemented by ARSIS – Social Support Organization for Youth, the University St. Kliment Ohridski Higher Medical School of the Republic of North Macedonia, UKLO, UNESCO Club of Serres and Lifestart – Growing And Learning together.This cross-border project aims at strengthening the cooperation between Greece and the Republic of North Macedonia in the field of child protection and support for vulnerable social groups. The project is funded by the INTERREG IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme CCI 2014 TC 16 I5CB 009 is co-funded by the European Union and National Funds of the participating countries. The project “In4Child” will be implemented by the Greek partners in the areas of Thessaloniki, Pella, Kilkis and Serres aiming at pedagogical, psychosocial and medical support of children working on the streets, living in Roma camps or refugee camps, as well as of children crossing the border between the two partner countries. In the Republic of North Macedonia, the project partners will implement actions in Pelagonia region aiming at pedagogical, psychosocial and medical support of children working on the streets, living in Roma camps and children crossing the border between the two partner countries An important pillar of the same project is human rights education. In particular, there will be training courses for Teachers of Primary and Secondary Education with the use of the Council of Europe’s manuals, Compass & Compasito and educational interventions in schools of both countries.
