IsraAID, an international non-governmental humanitarian organization, is leaving Greece after six years of solidarity, actively acting on the front line of emergency refugee assistance and through the integration programs.

For ARSIS – Association for the Social Support of Youth, the leaving of IsraAID Greece marks the “circle closed” of a valuable journey at every level of cooperation.

The paths followed by the two organizations first met in Sindos, where the Mobile School of ARSIS was hosted at the Community Center of IsraAID, covering the educational needs of refugee children living in the area. Additionally, Greek language classes for adults and adolescents, refugees and immigrants, as well as support in the language proficiency examination process have taken place up to date.

IsraAID donations of household and electronic equipment (as furniture, educational materials, computers and digital stuff, toys, etc.) strengthened ARSIS ‘ability to meet the needs of marginalized groups.

Fruitful cooperation comes to an end holding the umbrella of common principles and perceptions to support refugees and immigrants in Greece.

ARSIS bids farewell to the friends of IsraAID with whom it collaborated within a framework of mutual appreciation and trust, wishing their paths cross again in the future providing the best to the world community.
